MEET THE TEAM



 Sandy Smith, founder of AMONG CARING HEARTS HOME CARE SERVICES,
 has over 15 years experience in the healthcare field.  As a registered
 nurse, Sandy will be an effective liason between the client and the
 healthcare delivery system.  As our intake coordinator, Sandy's vast
 experience will allow AMONG CARING HEARTS to provide a quality
 assessment of client needs.  Sandy received her training from the Altoona
 Hospital School of Nursing and has extensive training in Advanced Cardiac Life
 Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is certified in Oncology.  Prior to
 founding Among Caring Hearts, Sandy was employed by Altoona Regional
 Health Systems in the Medical Outpatient Department. 
 
 
 James Smith, co-founder of Among Caring Hearts Home Care Services,
 
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh
 where he obtained his BS in Biology/Pre-Med.  He attended the
 University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and graduated in
 1981 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. James has been employed
 as a dentist for 21 years.  He has extensive training in general family
 dentistry as well as geriatric dentistry.  He has been actively
 involved in the hiring and training of employees in his practice and will be
 active in the certification and training of caregivers for Among Caring Hearts.

  Suzi Brannock RN earned a degree in Office Administration from
  Mount Aloysius College in 1988 and went on to earn her RN in 1996.
  She has worked on the medical/surgical unit, as well as medical outpatient,
  pediatrics, and surgical services unit at Altoona Regional Health Systems.
  She has also worked in a private urology practice.  Suzi's experience and
  medical knowledge will be invaluable as an RN Intake Coordinator where she
  will work hard to be an effective patient advocate in the homecare setting.
  Much of Suzi's free time is spent caring for her young son.
